Dr. Catherine (Katie) Joyce is a board-certified Internist who joined Greenwich Medical Partners in 2021.
Dr. Joyce graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Williams College, where she was a contributing member of the varsity swim team. Following Williams, Dr. Joyce completed her post-baccalaureate pre-med studies at Columbia University. A native of Massachusetts, she returned to her home state to complete her MD at the University of Massachusetts. The University of Massachusetts is recognized as one of the best state schools in the nation, particularly in primary care.
Newly married to a Brunswick faculty member, Dr. Joyce chose to train at Greenwich Hospital, part of the Yale-New Haven Medical System. Dr. Joyce excelled in residency and was selected to serve as Chief Resident. As Chief, she held many responsibilities, including teaching residents, creating curricula, and organizing the day-to-day operations of the residency program.
Since residency, she has been passionate about providing evidence-based medicine and compassionate, individualized care for patients as a Hospitalist Physician at Greenwich Hospital.
Dr Joyce was proud to be a member of the Hospitalist Team at Greenwich Hospital in 2020 providing emergency care to patients during the peak of the pandemic.
